Two minute tutorials! Start by opening an image in Photoshop For this tutorial we are going to use a horse Next, select the image tab, click 'Adjustments' and go down to 'Hue/Saturation' Here, you want to raise the saturation to about +25 Click OK Now go back to the image tab, select 'Mode' and go down to 'Indexed Color Mode' Select any of the 3 modes: Perceptual, Selective or Adaptive Next, reduce the number of colors to about 10 and click OK Click 'Image Size' and reduce the size of the image to whatever size you would like (100 worked well for this picture) Finally, if you have a colored background that you would like to remove you have to: Go to 'Image', 'Mode' and revert to 'RGB Color' Next, go to 'Select', color range and select the color of the background that you would like to remove Click OK.
Don't forget to unlock the layer by double clicking the lock icon.
Click delete and finish off by clicking 'File', 'Save as', 'Save as a PNG' and title your image And that's all, there is your pixel art creation Thank you for watching! Subscribe!.
