CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2017 Enhanced stylus support

Enhanced stylus support We introduce advanced RTS Stylus support in this release.

Take advantage of stylus tilt, bearing, rotation and pressure to make your work more expressive.

CorelDRAW You can now use stylus tilt and bearing to vary the flatness and rotation of the nib, while using the Eraser and Artistic media tools.

The Eraser’s property bar now includes tilt and bearing controls.

Use these to achieve the desired effect.

Note the new Artistic Media’s Expression mode.

Based on the Pressure mode of earlier versions, it’s been rebuilt from the ground up to support stylus tilt and bearing.

Use it to quickly sketch out your ideas.

And later edit your work, using the Shape tool.

The strokes retain pressure, tilt, and bearing information, giving you ultimate control.

You can revert to the old Pressure mode by simply toggling tilt and bearing off.

Corel PHOTO-PAINT Corel PHOTO-PAINT also features enhanced stylus support.

Pick any brush tool and find new controls on the property bar that enable stylus bearing, tilt, and rotation and pressure.

Toggle these to customize your brushstrokes and create exciting effects by using your stylus.

Let's give it a try.

Use the pressure of your stylus, as in earlier versions, to vary the size of the brush nib.

Press harder to widen a brushstroke, or apply lighter pressure to make it narrow.

Enabling stylus tilt helps you vary the brush nib flatness to create calligraphic brushstrokes.

Use the bearing and rotation controls to rotate the brush nib.

Take a look at the updated Brush Settings docker.

The most essential brush controls are now at the top of the docker.

You can pump up the rotation, flatness and elongation settings for an even greater range of artistic effects.

Expand the creative potential of your stylus with CorelDRAW and Corel PHOTO-PAINT.
