Advanced Photoshop Tutorial #5 – Professional Grading With Divided Solid Color

Hi guys, Kevin here.

I’m going to show you a cool color gradingtechnique I use a lot to experiment.

When I’m not satisfied yet about the colorgrading at the end of a project I use this technique to play around and see what works best.

You start with making a solid color adjustment layer.

And then set the blending mode to divided.

I’m going to use it on 30% opacity, youmay want to play around with it and see what gives you the best result.

Now you can play around with the colors, the lighter colors work the best with this method.

I prefer the yellow/orange range which result in a more cooler tone as you can see.

I hope you liked this trick, let me know inthe comments if you’ve ever heard of this combination before.

Thanks for watching, See you next time, take care.
